The Homlins

An entire family of cute creatures called Homlins lives on the territory of the mysterious Kaliningrad. These are magical little people. Their name derives from the English word ""home"". The miniature sculptures are located in different parts of the city. They became one of the city's symbols.
The creator of the sculptures is Andrey Sledkov, and the names for the Homlins were chosen by popular vote. At present, all seven miniature figures of these fairy-tale inhabitants can be found in the city.

The first of them is Grandfather Karl, a figurine installed in 2018 at the Medovy Bridge, Kant island. One can reach the sculpture on foot – along the road from the Oktyabrsky island to the Kant island.
