Cultural cluster «Ponart»

The building of the Ponart brewery was built in 1849 By Johann Philipp Schifferdecker.

In Soviet times, the company was used for the production of malt, beer and soft drinks. In the 90s, production facilities changed hands, while production was virtually stopped. The premises of the brewery fell into disrepair, which led to their partial destruction.

In 2010, a new brewery was opened under the trademark «Ponart». It is located in the building of the former factory administration. Guided tours of the brewery are available, and there is also a company store.

In 2023, Ponart finds a new life — now it is a public cluster.
Food fairs, New Year's Fairs and festivities are held on the territory of the Shopping District. Conferences, lectures, exhibitions, and workshops are also held. You can come here to have lunch or have coffee with one of the concept coffee shops.
